四环素族药物能与发育期牙齿的无机盐结合,形成一种鲜艳颜色的荧光物质,使牙齿染色。近十几年来,国外对四环素族着色牙进行广泛的研究,并通过实验证实四环素对骨等组织的影响是可逆的,停药后会逐渐消失。而四环素对钙离子有亲和作用,在牙齿中形成稳固的四环素钙化物则是不可逆的。在儿童5岁以内服药,可使其他恒牙及相继萌出的牙着色。
Tetracycline drugs combine with salts of the developing teeth to form a brightly colored fluorescent substance that stains the teeth. In the last decade or so, extensive research has been conducted on tetracycline colored teeth in foreign countries. Experiments have confirmed that the effect of tetracycline on bone and other tissues is reversible and will gradually disappear after drug withdrawal. Tetracycline, however, has an affinity for calcium ions and forms a firm tetracycline calcium in the tooth that is irreversible. Children within 5 years of taking medicine, can make other permanent teeth and one after another eruption of tooth coloring.
