混凝土的力学性能及其耐腐蚀性在拌制时通常只能通过经验值或者质量检验来估计。所以长期以来,人们一直在探索一种能在拌制的同时可靠地测定其性能的方法,以确保混凝土建筑物的质量。最有效的快速测定方法是在现场测定新拌混凝土的配比。要测定的混凝土参数有:水灰比,水及水泥含量、水泥种类、骨料含量及种类,外加剂含量及种类、细颗粒含量及颗粒级配、空气含量及平均气孔大小,其中最重要的是新拌混凝土的水灰比。但根据目前的认识水平,新拌混凝土的水灰比只能通过分别测定其水及水泥含量来确定。进行新拌混凝土快速测定时要求采用5分米~3的试块,相当于150×300毫米的圆柱体;所用时间不超过15分钟;
