随着世界经济全球化的迅猛发展,作为世界通用语言——英语在经济发展中的地位不言而喻,英语教学的重要性也日益显现,面临着前所未有的挑战。由于学生的知识面狭窄,增加学生的阅读量势在必行。《盐城市中小学英语课外阅读要求》指出,小学高年级学生能读懂故事、理解句子,养成意群阅读的习惯,能回答较为复杂的问题。然而,在当前阅读教学中,却存在着诸多不尽如人意的地方。
With the rapid development of economic globalization in the world, it is self-evident that English as the world’s common language is in economic development. The importance of English teaching is also increasingly apparent, facing unprecedented challenges. Due to students ’narrow knowledge, it is imperative to increase students’ reading. “Yancheng primary and secondary school English reading requirements” pointed out that primary school students can read the story, understand the sentence, to develop the habit of read group, can answer more complex issues. However, in the current reading teaching, there are many unsatisfactory places.
