为纪念毛泽东诞辰一百二十周年,武汉东湖宾馆于2013年11月下旬对外展出毛泽东在武汉留下的四百余幅珍贵照片,再现了毛泽东在武汉的岁月。这批照片中有一百多幅图片为首次对外展出,主要来自党史研究室、中央文献研究室及毛主席身边的工作人员。吕厚民和钱嗣杰两位摄影师多年跟随在毛主席身边,拍摄了大量珍贵照片,新华社和《人民日报》的摄影记者也多次捕捉到毛主席畅游长江和挥舞乒乓球拍的动人瞬间。
In commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth, Wuhan Donghu Hotel displayed more than 400 precious photographs left by Mao Zedong in Wuhan in late November 2013, reproducing Mao’s time in Wuhan. More than 100 pictures of these photos were exhibited for the first time, mainly from the Party History Research Center, the Central Literature Research Office and the staff members around Chairman Mao. Two filmmakers, Lu Houmin and Qian Si-jie, have been following Chairman Mao for many years and photographing a large number of precious photographs. The photojournalists of Xinhua News Agency and People’s Daily also captured the moving moments of Chairman Mao’s tour of the Yangtze River and his table tennis racket many times.
