评价标准是用来衡量学生体育学习成绩的工具和尺度。有人说:“多一把衡量的尺子,就会多出一批好学生。”新课程标准倡导激励性评价,这是一种正确的教学方法,有利于激发学生的兴趣。“多元性评价”的内涵,主要体现在两个层面,一是体育教师在教学过程中,对某个班级或对某些学生用区别对待的尺度进行多元评价;二是运用体育教学这个载体,教师、学生和家长分别从各自角度进行多元评价。相对而言,前者做起来并不难,而后者做起来虽难一点儿,但只要坚持下去,成效必然明显。
