曾几何时,老款福美来为当时的海南马自达开创了一个辉煌的时代,成为 A 级车市场无人不知的“新三样”之一,也为今天的海马汽车奠定了一个良好的基础。2006年,海马汽车公司结束与马自达的合作关系,在这个困难时期推出了福美来2代,成为了海马汽车走上自主品牌的一个起点。2007年1~6月海马汽车销售量达到70034台,比去年同比增长133.18%。取得如此好的成绩,福美来2功不可没;在福美来2代打下的良好的过渡基础上,海马满怀信心地推出了全新的海马3。这款新车在外形上焕然一新,已找不到福美来的影子,更重要的是采用了完全自主的发动机,可说是一款自主程度很高的新车型。
