云南省普洱市地处祖国边陲,属亚热带气候,气候宜人,冬无严寒,夏无酷暑,年平均气温为20℃左右,干湿季分明,雨季空气湿度大。当地兰科植物品种丰富,春兰、墨兰、寒兰、春剑、豆瓣兰、绿兰(送春)、蕙兰、莲瓣兰、鹤顶兰、半附生虎头兰等应有尽有。其中秋墨兰尤为突出。秋榜放花于中秋、国庆期间,花朵大气,色彩鲜艳,瓣型多样,为兰科植物中不可多得的秋天观花品种。现刊其中部分佳品图片以飨读者。
