英国著名的现实主义小说家托马斯.哈代在《德伯家的苔丝》中投射出对人性的多元伦理思想意识。本文将从文学伦理学批评研究角度出发,对故事情节发展,人物性格特征等所体现出的作者对伦理环境,伦理身份,伦理规范,伦理选择的刻画进行解读。文学伦理学批判的伦理维度是多元的,广泛的,相互交织,与时代背景,人物具体处境紧密相关的,这也正是文学论理学批评研究方法被置于文学作品之中,从道德伦理角度审视文学艺术创作的现实价值与意义所在。
