于1984年收集了全国各地油桐品种和优树基因资源共169号,在湖南衡阳县建立油桐基因库;对其中来自9省(区)的66个油桐品种,按田间试验设计要求,设置品种评比试验林,并对各品种的形态特征、开花习性、生长结实量、果实经济性状、种仁含油率、油脂理化性质、油脂脂肪酸含量等进行了连续7年的系统观测;较全面地揭示了各品种在生长、结实、形态、经济性状等方面的差异,找出了不同生育阶段、年份变化和营养状况对花序大小、雌雄花比例和果实丛生性的影响规律;评选出湖北大米桐、浙优13号等6个适合于湖南丘陵红壤地区发展的油桐品种.
A total of 169 Tung oilseeds and elite gene resources were collected from all over the country in 1984, and Tung Tung gene pool was established in Hengyang County, Hunan Province. According to the field trial design requirements, 66 Tung Tung varieties from 9 provinces (districts) A variety of experimental stands were set up.
