通过对广西广播电视大学采用实时交互远程视频教学网络开展现代远程开放教育办学实践的调查分析，认为开展现代远程开放教育符合世界科技教育发展的潮流，是切实可行的，但必须从以教师、课堂为中心向以学生为中心转变，从应试教育向素质教育转变并建立完善的学生学习支持服务系统。此外，开展现代远程开放教育需要一定的投入，它表现的应是一种规模效益。
Through surveying and analyzing the practice of Guangxi RTVU using the real-time interactive remote video teaching network to carry out modern distance open education, it is feasible to carry out modern distance open education in line with the trend of the world’s science and technology education. However, As the center to the students as the center shift from exam-oriented education to quality education and establish a sound student learning support service system. In addition, to carry out modern distance education requires some input, it should show a scale of efficiency.
