采用有机溶剂提取和柱层析分离等方法分离提取到胡黄连中的活性成分，经初步观察，胡黄连提取物对四氯化碳和硫代乙酰胺所致小白鼠急性肝损伤时谷丙转氨酶活性升高均有显著抑制作用，提示其有较好的降酶作用
The active ingredients in the extract of Huhuanglian were isolated and separated by organic solvent extraction and column chromatography. The primary observation was that the extract of Huhuanglian against alanine aminotransferase in acute liver injury in mice induced by carbon tetrachloride and thioacetamide. The increase of activity has a significant inhibitory effect, suggesting that it has a better effect of lowering the enzyme
