我国钢铁行业的外贸政策面临重大调整。这种调整是适应新的国际贸易形势的需要,也是不久的将来加入WTO的新要求。 现在我国对钢铁外贸实行限制进口的主要政策有:限量登记、指定经营、“以产顶进”;鼓励出口的政策主要有:出口退税,优惠贷款等。国家有关部门的负责人日前称,为适应未来加入WTO的要求,上述政策将得到调整或被取消。
China’s iron and steel industry’s foreign trade policy is facing major adjustments. Such adjustments are necessary for adapting to the new international trade situation and are also the new requirements for joining the WTO in the near future. At present, China’s main restrictions on the import of foreign trade in steel and iron are: limited registration, designated operation, “top production by production”; policies for encouraging export mainly include export tax rebates and preferential loans. Recently, the responsible officials of the relevant state departments said that in order to meet the requirements of joining the WTO in the future, the above-mentioned policies will be adjusted or canceled.
