In recent years, Mudanjiang City, through the introduction of foreign intelligence, has developed more than 140 new products and taught more than 20 kinds of technical know-how and new techniques, bringing the intellectual work into the good track of “introducing intelligence - digest and absorb - learn from innovation” . In agriculture, in order to develop “two highs and one superiority” of agriculture, the city’s intellectual work has focused on four major crops, rice, winter wheat, vegetables and fruit trees. Such as rice high-quality rice project, they went to Japan for 3 consecutive years of training. The experts selected the rice varieties with different accumulative temperature zones to form their own cultivation and fertilization systems in various accumulated temperature zones and clarified the prevention and cure methods of the obstacle-type cold damage in high-quality rice production, the optimal water cut-off period and the optimal harvest period , So that the quality of rice significantly improved. As of 1995, the city has an area of about 100,000 mu, with a total economic benefit of over 40 million yuan. In order to make full use of the fruit tree production superiority in Dongning District, the city hired last year the Japanese flower-girl association fruit tree expert Yu Yue-man to guide the dwarfing cultivation techniques and pest control techniques of fruit trees and put forward the proposal of developing large-scale apples in Dongning. In March of this year, Yuyue Male went to Mu twice to conduct on-site pruning demonstrations and guidance as well as nine detoxification seedlings and branches from Japan. These seedlings through trial selection of varieties will fill our province without a large apple blank.
