Maize dwarf mosaic virus (MDMV) is an important virus in maize in our province. It is the most economical and effective measure to control the disease by utilizing the disease resistance of varieties, and the research on disease resistance of maize varieties is the basis of disease resistance breeding. Therefore, we carried out screening and identification of maize resistance to dwarf mosaic disease from 1982 to 1985, and also discussed the genetic aspects of resistance.
