热处理是提高机械产品质量的关键手段,也是消耗能源的重要工序。就我国目前而言,有95%以上的热处理设备是用电的,而热处理的能耗一般为成本的15%,机械制造业的热处理一般占其用电总量的40%左右。因此,尽快采用节能新技术、新工艺、新材料,加强科学用能管理,实现节能高产量是十分必要和有效的一项技改工作。采用高温辐射涂料或远红外涂料是节能的新途径。高温辐射涂料又称高温远红外涂料(HTEE)。远红外线是一种肉眼看不见的热光,在600℃以下辐射元件能够辐射出远红外线,在600℃以上也有远红外线辐射。远红外线用于高温金属热处理也是可行的。要制得高温远红外辐射涂料,必须寻找高辐射率的材料。试验表明:二氧化锆(ZrO_2),三氧化二铁(Fe_2O_3),三氧化二铬(Cr_2O_3),二氧化硅(SiO_2)
