NBA的板凳是世界上最长、最冰冷的板凳,那些天才球员怀揣着美丽的愿望来到篮球的殿堂,勾勒着未来成功的画面,以为曾经憧憬的已经近在咫尺,却慢慢发现,他们和最初的期望越来越远,就像鸟失去了翅膀,在沙漠迷失了方向。他们的才华、青春、憧憬、希望和运动生涯慢慢地被扼杀在板凳上。这世界并不是有实力就能成为球星,也不是酒囊饭袋就不能出人头地。机会对于一个人来说,是他通往成功的道路,或是推开一扇门的钥匙。不过这条路并不是谁都有机会走,这把钥匙也不是谁都能拥有。NBA那些大器晚成的巨星中很多都是在最开始不被人关注的,那些带有偏见和敌意的相处差点要了他们的命,有些人最终挺了过来,但有些人就此终结了他们在NBA的职业生涯。
