Xia Shu Yu is a well-known talented person, industrialist and educator in the Northwest in the 1930s and 1940s. During the Xi’an Incident, he served as vice chairman of the Xi’an Traffic Committee. As the aide of Yang Hucheng, he was responsible for the management of cars, trains and aircrafts in Xi’an. Not long ago, our library collected two manuscripts about the events of Xi ’an in memory of Xi’an.
