OBJECTIVE: To analyze the barriers to evidence-based nursing practice and provide suggestions for the promotion of evidence-based nursing. Methods: In February 2017, a survey method combining interview method and questionnaire was used. Taking 100 nurses from different departments in a single center as the survey subjects, the paper investigated the nurses’ evidence-based qualities including knowledge, evidence-based attitude, evidence-based behavior and evidence-based skills. . Results: The good rate of evidence-based attitude was the highest, followed by evidence-based skills, evidence-based knowledge, evidence-based behavior, the good rate of less than 10%, the highest proportion of evidence-based knowledge is the highest, followed by evidence-based behavior, Card skills, evidence-based quality score is very poor accounted for 4%. The nurses’ awareness of evidence-based nursing attained the highest score of ≤25%, followed by the availability of research results. The resource conditions for conducting evidence-based nursing were> 75% of the highest, followed by the quality of research reports. Evidence-based knowledge, evidence-based skills and quality of research reports, evidence-based attitudes and quality of research reports, nurses’ awareness of evidence-based nursing, total score of barrier questionnaires, evidence-based behavior and availability of research findings, There was a correlation between the total quality score and the total score of the obstacles, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: The barriers to evidence-based nursing practice are many years, of which the lack of adequate resource conditions for evidence-based nursing is a major obstacle.
