小石榴是常见的观赏石榴品种,植株矮小,枝叶细小而稠密,花果也都不大,但开花很勤,坐果率很高。用其制作盆景,能够以小见大,表现大自然的山林野趣和大树风采,尤其适合制作水旱式、丛林式盆景和微型盆景。制作这些盆景所用的植材多是扦插、播种所得,也就是说在不破坏生态环境的条件下,能够得到大量的苗,很适合大批量生产。这里我用图示的方法介绍一下水旱式小石
