2011年,时任中央党校校长的习近平在秋季开学典礼的讲话中强调指出,学习和总结历史文化,借鉴和运用历史经验,是我们党一贯重视并倡导的做好领导工作一个重要的思想和方法。领导干部不管处在哪个层次和岗位,都要学习中国历史,了解和懂得自古以来中国人民创造的灿烂历史文化,继承中华民族在漫长历史发展进程中形成的优良传统,从中汲取思想精华,结合新的实践不断发扬光大。而国学中大量的优秀文化传统,都值得当代中国共产党人学习和领悟。
