近年来,苏州遂苑无疑是盆景界最具影响力的名园之一,园主杨贵生先生斥巨资觅得让人叹为观止盆景佳材数百件,不惜重金从日本收回大量古渡铭盆。收藏优秀的盆景桩材,靠的是实力,考量的是眼力,杨贵生先生对盆景收藏有着独到、超前的见解,数年前,杨贵生先生的收藏品位或许还不被更多人理解,但如今,遂苑众多日渐成熟的盆景力作无不让盆景界叹为观止。杨贵生先生邀约中国盆景艺术大师樊顺利先生到遂苑创作交流,众多盆景铭树气象初具,遂苑以其在松柏、罗汉松等方面雄厚的资源积累及源源不断的创作潜力让全世界盆景界侧目,遂苑已经成长为全世界最顶级的盆景名园。杨贵生先生以其对盆景艺术近乎偏执的热爱成就了盛世中国盆景艺术复兴的最强音,以其不可阻挡的王者之势成就了整个盆景界、古盆收藏界难于逾越的高度。本刊盆景赏石版自2012年第9期起,拟将在一年时间内,分四期(依次柏树篇、松树篇、罗汉松篇、杂木篇),每期撷取遂苑最新、最经典的盆景铭作的创作过程4—6例,这些作品都是
