From the early stage of religious painting as a supplementary part to the development of a complete and independent painting, it has undergone a long process of development. The still life of the Netherlands beginning in the 17th century, after several centuries of evolution and innovation, has gone beyond the mere tracing stage. It is the aesthetic pursuit of artist’s personal artistic language and the pursuit of artistic accomplishment. It originated from life, higher than life; many masters Chardin, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Picasso and so have to push the still life after another peak, all with their own unique artistic taste established their own in the world of painting The prominent position. The still life in our country basically inherits the pattern of the former Soviet Union. In the process of painting, it often requires the painter to devote too much energy to the training of the color and the basic form so that the still life made Equivalent to sketches in general. Nowadays, with the continuous infuse of the theory of modern painting, many painters have gone out of tradition and constantly tap new artistic worlds in the field of still life, making this elaborately painted on-shelf art more personal, artistic and pluralistic.
