在CA6140车床上加工一零件,由于毛坯加工余量较大,长度相对较长(长径比为6:1),就必须使用尾座上的活顶尖对零件进行支撑,而当时手头又没有活顶尖。为了能进行加工,自制了一只简易活顶尖,经过使用的检验,效果较好,介绍如下: 简易活顶尖结构见附图。顶尖6外仲长度由M8×1细牙螺母5(本结构用双螺母)来调整和拧紧,顶尖受的轴向力传给φ5钢球4然后传给顶块3,再由顶块传给M20×2的细牙调整螺栓1。顶块的作用是为了防止当顶尖外伸较长时M20×2的细牙调整螺栓拧进莫氏4~#顶尖套2内,尾座手轮丝杠端头顶不到活顶尖而使活顶尖拆不下来而设计的,它的另一个重要作用是支撑φ5钢球,传递轴向力。制造精度要求较高的部位是顶尖的外径与顶尖套配合的内孔,可选H_4/h_3 ,由于配合精度较高,使活顶尖转动平稳,并且不漏油(实际上顶尖外径与套内孔是配制的)。
