利用光纤中SOP(stateotpolarization)在poincare球上变换的理论,推得被测单模光纤主轴的取向及双折射率与实验可测量的函数关系,同时给出一种判断双折射主轴名称的方法。最后测得上海硅酸盐所一般单模光纤的拍长约为1m。
Using the principle of SOP (stateotpolarization) transformation in poincare sphere in optical fiber, the orientation of single-mode fiber under test and the relationship between birefringence and experimental measurable function are deduced. At the same time, a method to determine the name of birefringent principal axis is given. Finally measured Shanghai silicate general single-mode fiber beat length is about 1m.
