Guangxi Wuzhou Lianyi Chemical Co Ltd (Lianyi)has completed construction on its phase one 75 000 t/a caustic soda project and started wet commissioningon August 20th.When the unit can run normally, thecompany will start to construct phase two, also a 75000 t/a caustic soda unit.The company was acquired by Nanning ChemicalIndustry Co Ltd (SH: 600301) - a medium sized chloralkalicompany in 2006.The parent company operatesunits of 260 000 t/a caustic soda, 140 000 t/apolyvinyl chloride, 120 000 t/a hydrochloric acid, 100000 t/a liquid chlorine and 15 000 t/atrichloroisocyanuric acid.
