福建汀州客家的严婆家训流传至今约有500年历史,它是民间家训的一枝奇葩。严婆家训的特色有三:严字当头,讲究严律治家;尊重女性,视女性为家宝;讲古谣训,化严婆崇拜为民间信仰。由严婆家训提炼出民间家训的社会伦理功能是:民间家训严家教、扬家风,具有立德教人的功能;民间家训正风俗、美教化,具有“道德场”的功能。这一民间家训给人们的现实启示是:首先,民间家训源自百姓、贴近百姓,有利于促进家风民风的建设和改善;其次,民间家训奖惩分明、恩威并重,有利于道德建设落细落小落实;最后,民间家训花样繁多、呈现形式多样,有利于寓教于乐、寓教于情。
