机车上采用的26－L型空气制动机在实际运用中操纵列车不能瞬间缓解，无法监控全列车制动管的通风状态，直接威胁着安全运输生产，为此特作了适应性改进，增加26－L型空气制动机的瞬间缓解性能，以适应我国铁路安全运输的需要。
26-L-type air brake locomotive used in the actual operation of the train can not be an instant relief, can not monitor the full train brake pipe ventilation, a direct threat to the safe transport of production, this made special adaptation, increase 26-L-type air brake instantaneous mitigation performance to meet the needs of China’s railway safe transport.
