中国共产党在长期革命斗争中锤炼了一种特有的精神,形成了一套特有的传统,其中包括全心全意为人民服务的宗旨,艰苦奋斗的作风,无私奉献的精神,钢铁般的纪律等等。这些闪耀着无产阶级思想光芒的优良传统,具有无坚不摧的强大力量。战争年代,我们靠它披荆斩棘,克敌制胜;社会主义建设时期,我们靠它凝聚党心、军心、民心,开创新的伟业。依靠优良传统的力量创造现代化的奇迹,在共和国的版图上比比皆是。特别是改革开放以来,在建设有中国特色社会主义所取得的辉煌成就中,更说明坚持传统教育、发扬优良传统的无比威力。优良传统又是一所大学校,在这所大学校里培育出了一批又一批革命志士和英雄模范,从战争年代到和平建设时期,他们的成长无不受到优良传统的润泽。但是,随着改革开放的深化和市场经济的发展,在一些人眼中优良传统似乎“贬值”了,认为:“现在搞市场经济,老传统不管用了,讲传统不合时宜”;有的还说:“搞革命靠传统,搞建设靠金钱。”由于认识上的错位,带来了行为上的脱轨。少数人经不住酒绿灯红的考验,抗不住金钱美色的诱惑,陷入个人主义、享乐主义和腐朽生活方式的泥坑而不能自拔。正反两方面经验告诉我们,优良传统这种精神财富永远不会贬值,永远不会过时,永远是无价之宝。丢掉了优良传统,个人会走邪路,事业会受损失,国家民族会失去凝聚力,变成一盘散沙。在新形势下优良传统教育不但要抓紧,而且要结合新情况新问题搞得更扎实、更有成效。继承和发扬优良传统,首先要知传统、学传统。现在的许多青年干部、党员和广大青少年
