大型煤气柜由于运转年久,往往钟罩盖出现局部锈透而漏气。漏气愈来愈大,将导致出现裂纹等较大的缺陷而必须进行检修。我厂有一煤气柜,其直径约30米,高近40米,内盛水煤气——易燃易爆,柜体钟罩是用4毫米厚的普通低炭钢板组焊起来的。气柜由于运转年久而产生锈透,裂纹等,因此必须检修。但气柜内盛的是易燃易爆气体,按原来的规定:气柜周围10米内不得动火。因此要想修补气柜,就得停产,並将柜内气体全部放掉,还要把柜内近五千吨水放掉,再把柜内通风置换,经分析合格才可检修。总之,气柜检修一次,由于放气,放水,置换,起吊……等工序
