范鸿仙,名光启,1882年出生于安徽合肥北乡的一个耕读之家,他从小聪颖好学,早年曾中过秀才。1907年,范鸿仙来到上海,在于右任等人创办的《神州日报》开始了记者兼革命家的职业生涯。范鸿仙的革命业绩1908年夏天,离开《神州日报》的范鸿仙与李铎(警众)、李燮枢(辛白)、陈仲衡、王无生、胡适等安徽同乡,创办《国民白话日报》。1909年5月,范鸿仙协助于右任创办《民呼日报》,常以“孤鸿”为笔名,发表时事评论文章。《民呼日报》被上海租界当局查封之后,于右任、范鸿仙等人
Fan Hongxian, Mingguang Qi, was born in 1882 in Hefei, Anhui Province, a farming home, he grew smart and studious, had been in the early scholar.
