使用分立元件组装的收音机,不但体积大、工艺复杂、不便于大生产,而且调整工作也颇为困难。因此,人们非常关心和努力研究解决收音机电路的集成化问题。“ULN-2204A”收音机集成电路块就是把收音机的各部分——本机振荡级、混频级(调幅波部分)、中频放大级、检波级、自动增益控制、自动频率控制以及功率放大级和稳压电路等部分都集中做在同一块芯片上,成为一块完整的收音机集成电路。该集成电路采用16引线的双列直插型封装,其外形见图1,各引线管脚的功能见下表:
