一李苦禅生平中国花鸟画,欲索其源,原始彩陶上的游鱼诸类,为其滥觞也。北宋《宣和画谱·花鸟叙论》云:“诗人六义,多识于鸟兽草木之名;而律历四时,亦记其荣枯语默之候。所以绘事之妙,多寓兴于此,与诗人相表里焉。”绘事之妙,夺造化,移精神,以兴起人,若思若睹。自唐以来,花鸟画延绵不绝,名家辈出。唐之薛稷、边鸾、刁光胤,五代之黄筌、徐熙,宋之赵昌、崔白,元之李衍、王冕,明之陈淳、徐渭,清之八大山人、恽寿平,近代之吴昌硕、齐白石,皆可谓巨擘也。今之李苦禅、潘天寿诸先生,亦踵武前贤,踔厉风发,尤为闳肆。
