今年2月,理论物理学家郝柏林院士“伪科学与赝科学”一文,因被新华社作为通稿而在社会媒体上广为盛传,但学术界、甚至科学界,对此文观点的反应却出奇地沉默。三个月后,在中国科学院科学史所的一次“天地生人”学术会议上,此文竞遭到了与会的十几个学者的一致批评,这些不同学者所工作的领域涉足极为宽泛,从科学史到混沌、复杂性,从哲学到心理学、建筑工程学、古生物学。此次会议的组织者之一宋正海先生说,他们事前曾试图让不同观点的人相聚一堂,但却没能如愿,因为他们没能找到支持郝柏林观点的学者。我们这一期的“科学与文化”栏目将把这些学者的观点文章刊登出来,一是让更多的人们知道这些不同的声音,二是表示我们对同一个观点可以有不同的声音,同时希望再听到另外的不同声音。 下文是今年3月刊登在《人民日报》上的一篇介绍郝柏林 “赝科学”观点的文章。题为 “科学界要识别赝科学”（人民日报/周兆钧,2002年3月19日）:
In February this year, theoretical physicist Hao Bolin academician “Pseudoscience and Pseudoscience” was widely circulated in the social media by Xinhua News Agency as a contributor. However, academics and even the scientific community responded to this article's view But surprisingly silent. Three months later, at a conference entitled “Heaven, Earth, and Earth” held by the History of Science in Chinese Academy of Sciences, this contest was unanimously criticized by more than a dozen scholars attending. These different scholars work in a very broad area, ranging from science History to chaos, complexity, from philosophy to psychology, architectural engineering, paleontology. Mr. Song Zhenghai, one of the organizers of the conference, said they had tried to get together people of different opinions beforehand, but failed to do so because they failed to find a scholar who supported Hao's view. The column in this issue of Science and Culture will publish the opinion articles of these scholars. The first is to let more people know these different voices. The second is to say that we can have different voices to the same point of view. At the same time, we hope I heard another different sound.
