Vascular endothelial growth factor C is a member of the vascular endothelial growth factor family. It can promote the formation of tumor lymphatic vessels, activate the existing lymphatic vessels, is highly expressed in many malignant tumors and plays an important role in lymph node metastasis of malignant tumors. Vascular endothelial growth factor C is also highly expressed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which is closely related to the clinical stage, tumor invasion depth, pelvic lymph node metastasis and prognosis of solid tumor such as cervical cancer. The use of drugs to inhibit the production of vascular endothelial growth factor C or block its receptor has become a new idea for the treatment of malignant tumors.
