对单向准各向同性碳-环氧复合物进行一系列足尺试验。研究显示:单向试件样本尺寸增加其抗拉强度降低。通过重复子层合板铺层顺序改变层合板厚度时(从单层到第4层,子层合板厚度增加10%),准各向同性试件强度随尺寸增加而增大。然而,当改变子层合板铺层厚度顺序(子层合板厚度从单层到第8层减少62%)时,准各向同性试件强度随尺寸增加反而降低。层合板不能达到单向材料的强度,所有的试件显示横向裂纹和边缘分层导致了初始破坏。
A series of full-scale tests were conducted on unidirectional quasi-isotropic carbon-epoxy composites. The research shows that the tensile strength of the unidirectional specimen decreases with the increase of the sample size. The strength of the quasi-isotropic specimen increases with increasing size by varying the laminate thickness in the order of repeating the sub-laminate layup (from single layer to the fourth layer, the sub-laminate thickness increases by 10%). However, the strength of the quasi-isotropic specimens decreases with increasing size when changing the sub-laminate thickness order (the sub-laminate thickness is reduced by 62% from the single layer to the eighth layer). Laminates failed to achieve the strength of the unidirectional material and all the specimens showed that initial lateral failure and lateral delamination resulted in initial failure.
