The 8 # tunnel at 132 miles of the Pittatuigh and West Wiiginia Railroad in the United States caused a head-on collapse accident at 54 a.m. on the morning of October 7, 1959, due to the collapse of the arch. Collapse 70 feet high, about 50 feet in diameter, the collapse of about 40,000 cubic meters do, causing an interruption of driving fourteen days.
