转移因子是一种细胞免疫增强剂，为无抗原性无毒性的小分子物质，从理论上讲不会导致过敏反应和毒性作用。少数文献报道有不良反应发生，其发生与药物不纯和注射过程中操作不慎有关，而与药物本身无直接关系。本组对８４０例使用转移因子治疗口腔粘膜病患者进行观察，发现２１例发生不良反应，并对这些不良反应的原因进行分析，结果发现与药物的不纯和被污染有关。药物含有杂质和被污染，形成抗原和感染源，从而导致过敏反应和感染的发生。
