2004年,在县委、县政府和上级公安机关的正确领导下,祁县公安局认真落实全国、全省“二十公”会议精神,紧紧围绕“唱响主旋律,迎接新挑战,再上新台阶”的目标,严格履行职责,扎扎实实工作,集中抓好维护稳定、严打整治、治安防控、科技强警、行风评议、队伍建设等工作,实现了为全县小康建设和群众安居乐业创造良好治安环境的总目标。
