为庆祝香港特别行政区成立十周年,中国烹饪协会、世界中国烹饪联合会与香港公益金、香港中国烹饪餐饮业协会、香港赛马会等单位联合举办了大型“全国名厨荟萃为公益”的美食慈善晚宴,于2007年5月18日晚在香港赛马会隆重举行,中国烹饪协会常务副会长杨柳代表中国烹饪协会和世界中国烹饪联合会出席晚宴并在主宾席就座。
