汉字具有单音节和音义结合的特点,在形式上,大多数汉字表现为一个个方块形的语素型结构体,只有在少数情况下两个乃至多个汉字才组合成单一的语素。汉字的这个特点适应汉语表达的需要,为人们创造出一些妙趣横生的表现形式提供了条件。
Chinese characters have a combination of monosyllables and phonetic meanings. Most of the characters appear as a block-shaped morpheme structure in form. Only in a few cases are two or more Chinese characters combined into a single morpheme. This feature of Chinese characters adapts to the needs of Chinese expression and provides the conditions for people to create some entertaining expressions.
