英译汉是学习外语最重要的内容之一。英语长句的处理是翻译过程中的重点和难点。掌握了英语长句的翻译能达到纲举目张的效果。本文以英语长句的翻译为研究重点为,在理解长句特点和翻译难点的基础上,探讨长句翻译的技巧和方法,首先在第一部分分析了英语长句的特点及翻译难点,英语长句的特点,英语长句翻译的难点,紧接着对英语长句翻译的方法技巧进行解析,分别为顺序法、逆序法、分局法、综合法。本文凭借相对翔实的例子和论述对英语长句的翻译技巧进行了较为深入的剖析,也提出了切实可行的对策,以期在英译汉的实际操作过程中达到事半功倍的效果。
English to Chinese translation is one of the most important aspects of learning a foreign language. The treatment of long sentences in English is the key and difficult point in the process of translation. Grasp the translation of long sentences in English can achieve the effect of the outline. This paper focuses on the translation of long sentences in English. Based on the understanding of the characteristics of long sentences and the difficulty of translation, this paper discusses the skills and methods of translation of long sentences. In the first part, I analyze the characteristics of English long sentences and the difficulty of translation. The characteristics of sentences, the difficulties in the translation of long sentences in English, followed by the analysis of the methodological skills of the translation of long sentences in English, which are sequence method, reverse order method, sub-bureau method and comprehensive method. In this paper, with comparatively detailed examples and expositions, I analyze the translation skills of English long sentences in detail, and put forward feasible measures to achieve a multiplier effect in the practical operation of English-Chinese translation.
