数字控制和门驱动电路必需的高压开关电源(SMPS)的起动电路,由若干个有功耗的分立元件组成。为精简此电路,本文在级联结构(Cascode Configuration)中使用新型的1700V、1.4Ω的耗尽型碳化硅纵向结型场效应管(VJFET),使它在开关电源工作中担负两种作用。首先,JFET为控制器、IC提供起动电流,以取消额外的起动电路;同时,又作为开关电源的主要开关元件。这种双重作用,对开关电源而言,减少了元件数量,节省了空间,提高了效率,降低了系统成本。
Digital control and gate drive circuit required high-voltage switching power supply (SMPS) start-up circuit, by a number of discrete components with power consumption. To streamline this circuit, this article uses a new 1700V, 1.4Ω, depleted silicon carbide vertical junction field effect transistor (VJFET) in a cascode configuration that takes two roles in switching power supplies. First of all, JFET for the controller, IC to provide starting current to cancel the additional starting circuit; the same time, as the main switching power supply switching components. This dual role for the switching power supply, reducing the number of components, saving space, improve efficiency and reduce system costs.
