The Mǒbius band is mathematically astonishing and was proposed by the German astronomer A. Mǒbius in 1863 to have some fascinating topological features. In 1964, Hei-lbronner proposed the idea that macrocyclic multi-olefin distortions will produce M (?) Bius rings. Since then, Zimmermän has evolved into the concept of “M (?) Bius-Hückel aromatic transition state.” This opens up theoretical exploration into the topological properties of molecular structure and activity.
