At present, the commencement of the “six large and one small” project is being actively pursued, of which Longtan, Gongboxia, and Xiaowan will be started this year, and the remaining projects will begin in 2003. Through the first, second and third batch of hydropower development, the climax of hydropower development will be formed in the first 20 years of the new century.
