本文在分析陕西几所民办本科院校选聘外语教师方式的基础上,出了几点建议提。哈佛大学前任校长科南特曾说:“大学的荣誉不在于它的校舍和人数,而在于它一代又一代的教师的质量。一个学校要站得住脚,教师一定要出名。”教师对大学很重要,选聘教师就极为重要,一个人或一个职能部门很难完成,需要学校领导高度重视,各职能部门通力协调、合作,尽可能在经费、设备、梯队、住房等各方面给予积极配套,才能使选聘工作顺利进行。
