近年来,在各级党政的领导和重视下,我省教育事业了有较大发展,但经费紧、校舍缺、设备差的情况仍然十分严重,极大地制约了九年制义务教育的实施。为完成《中国教育改革和发展纲要》提出的在本世纪末基本普及九年制义务教育的历史任务,根据党中央、国务院关于“允许各省、自治区、直辖市人民政府开征用于教育的地方税费”的精神,从我省的实际情况出发,省政府决定:从1995年起,在全省城镇(乡)职工中征收个人教育费。现将有关事项通知如下:
