中华人民共和国南京军区临汾旅,是中国陆军的窗口,是全军对外开放的优秀部队之一,也是中国人民解放军序列中最大的荣誉集体“光荣的临汾旅”。这只英雄的部队创建于抗日战争时期的1937年冬,是以山西省南部10支队(辖决死第七、八、九三个总队,相当于三个团)、晋冀鲁豫野战军第八纵队第二十三旅(1945年12月),到1948年6月临汾战役后被授誉“光荣的临汾旅”称
The Linfen Brigade, Nanjing Military Region, People’s Republic of China, is the window of the Chinese Army and one of the outstanding troops open to the outside world.
