唐生智(1889-1970),湖南东安人,保定陆军军官学校毕业,历经中华民国建国到解放战争开始时期担任过国民党多个重要职务,授衔至上将。在解放战争末参加湖南和平起义,此后在湖南军政机构任职,曾任湖南省副省长等职。1967年的夏天,有五个穿着军装的人来到长沙。他们通过当时的湖南省军管小组来到湖南省政协。一到省政协,就气势汹汹地对当时省政协群众组织的负责人说:“我们是奉中央军委之命,并且得到湖南省军管小组的支持,前来找唐生智书写一个材料,请你们大力支持我们的革命行动。”
Tang Shengzhi (1889-1970) graduated from the Dongan Army in Hunan Province and the Army Officer School of Baoding and served in a number of important positions in the KMT after the founding of the Republic of China to the start of the War of Liberation. At the end of the War of Liberation participated in the peaceful uprising in Hunan, then served in Hunan military and political institutions, former deputy governor of Hunan Province and other staff. In the summer of 1967, five men in military uniform came to Changsha. They came to Hunan CPPCC through the then military management team of Hunan Province. When he came to the provincial CPPCC, he said in a threatening manner to the person in charge of the mass organizations of the CPPCC Provincial Committee: “We are supported by the Central Military Commission and have the support of the Hunan Provincial Military Commission. We come to find Tang Shengzhi a piece of material, Our revolutionary action. ”
