人民调解制度是一项具有中国特色的社会主义法律制度。建国以来,人民调解制度在化解民间矛盾纠纷,维护社会稳定等方面发挥了十分重要的作用。但随着我国改革和发展的不断深入,社会背景发生了很大变化,人民调解制度面临严峻的挑战。但人民调解对于社会的纠纷解决的重要价值不容忽视,在制度方面的缺陷亟需完善。
The people’s mediation system is a socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics. Since the founding of the People’s Republic, the system of people’s mediation has played an important role in resolving conflicts and conflicts among civilians and maintaining social stability. However, with the continuous deepening of the reform and development in our country, great changes have taken place in the social background and the people’s mediation system is facing a serious challenge. However, the important value of people’s mediation in the resolution of disputes in society can not be ignored, and the system defects need to be improved.
