The Spatial Structure Committee of the Society of Civil and Structural Engineers of China Civil Engineering Society held the 6th Academic Conference on Spatial Structure from December 2nd to 6th, 1992 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and participated in this academic conference from 26 provinces across the country. The municipalities, autonomous regions (including Taiwan Province) and the Hong Kong region included 256 representatives from 193 units including design, scientific research, teaching, production, and construction. The meeting coincided with the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Committee on Space Structure. The general theme of the meeting was: "The Decade of Spatial Structure - Review
